Rich is out of town for most of the weekend. So far we're doing fine without him. I actually arranged a playdate for Nick. He's reached the age where, once the other kid actually arrives, there is very little need for me to entertain or even supervise. The biggest problem I had was that Zoe wanted to play too, and she kept piteously asking for admittance through the closed door of Nick's room. Eventually they emerged to play on the Wii, and then all the kids were occupied. After Sean left, we ate hot dogs for dinner, because when there's no diabetic around I feed my kids crap. Tasty, tasty crap. We took an unfortunately long drive across town to pick up our tickets to Walking with the Dinosaurs, because Nick and I are going with the cub scouts on Sunday. It'll be awesome, and I use that in the full sense of the world. Then we played outside till dark. I also bought a truck this morning. Here it is.
